Self Care 101: Tune Into Your Mind, Body, and Soul

Our Self-Care 101 Event at Workhouse was such a special treat for us and hoped that it touched many of you as well. We hope you enjoyed our session and found the panel talk insightful and helpful. We are still glowing from head to toe from meeting all of you and sharing your evening with us.

The evening couldn’t have started off better. A powerful meditation led by Kristina Hedrick, helped us ease into the night, calm our minds and keep our focus.

Next, Psychotherapist Gina Moffa, kicked off with a fun and eye-opening exercise, which helped us all learn a little more about ourselves. She taught us how key it is to continue to explore oneself in order to experience less pain and more contentment.

We also heard from thoughtful Healthy Business Advisor, Amina Altai. Amina shared her unique perspective on how we all need to holistically nourish our businesses – whether we are a soleprenuer or entrepreneur – in order to feel balanced, be more efficient and inevitably lead us to success.

We then heard from Holly Toronto, Body Image Coach, who shared her own journey as to how she became a health coach.  Her honesty inspired our audience to share some of their heartbreaking yet beautiful stories. Holly provided such a refreshing talk about healthy eating – no diets, no fads, no trends – just enjoyable eating. She inspired us to make pivotal changes in our lifestyle starting with responsive eating versus reactive eating. We love the sound of that!

We are so grateful to our self-care panelist for sharing their stories, wisdom and time with all of us.

Below are some highlights we wanted to share.
